Tracing nationwide Tomb-sweeping Day travel rush



Visitors flock to the iconic Duanqiao Bridge on the West Lake, Hangzhou city, during China's three-day Tomb-sweeping Day holiday. As China begins its last day of the Tomb-sweeping Day holiday travel rush, daily rail traffic has been reported hitting a record high. China Railway, said that it transported 12.68 million passengers on April 2. The three-day holiday, also known as Qingming Festival, lasts from April 2 to 4. It is the most important occasion for Chinese to honour their ancestors.
