Hangzhou

It sits at the head of Hangzhou Bay on China's coast between Shanghai and Ningbo. Hangzhou grew to prominence as the southern terminus of the Grand Canal and has been one of the most renowned and prosperous cities in China for much of the last millennium, due in part to its beautiful natural scenery.
The city's West Lake is its best-known attraction. Lotuses are blooming in the West Lake attraction. They are the first to come into bloom this year, at least two weeks earlier than last year, according to park workers. Besides lotuses, water lilies and hydrangeas are also flowering across the city as summer has set in.
Outside the city you will see a lot of tea plantations and enjoy tea in one of several small cafes. Hangzhou tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world.

AMBergh recommends studies in beautiful and interesting Hangzhou.  We will also offer very interesting cultural programmes in and outside the city. Study and learn a lot about China and Chinese culture.
