High time for tea in Hangzhou

A tea culture park will open next month on the premises of the former Hangzhou Tea Factory on Kaixuan Road. The street will be transformed into a road for tea trading. Four large domestic tea companies have already opened establishments there. Visitors can find all the famous teas produced in the country.

Monks pick tea leaves at a plantation around Fajing Buddhist Temple west of Hangzhou. More than 40 monks helped pick tea leaves during the harvest. People can order the temple’s limited supply of Longjing green tea.
