Learning by Eating

One of the interesting parts of Chinese learning in Beijing is the possibility to go on a food tour.

Beijing is a great place to enjoy and try different styles of food. The teachers often integrate the Chinese language learning with food tasting excursions in real life.

And this area has a lot to offer when it comes to food! - Peking duck, real Beijing local style food that you can never miss, Hot Pot, popular in northern China, hot spicy Sichuan food and elegant Shanghai food.

But there are also a lot of options for non-Chinese food. There are several Korean BBQs, Japanese food, Indian restaurants and Brazilian Steak houses. Like any international metropolitan, there are many international fast food chains, but most of the students usually prefer to try out the wide variety of tasty local food.
