Location & facilities, Koreiz Yalta
Given that all tuition is held at the guest house then during the summer months you might that your lessons are held out on the terrace or in the garden.

For those that love the countryside then you can always walk or jog in the nearby pine forest. A mountain path up to the top of the 1234m Ai Petri begins almost directly from the steps of the guest house. You should then calculate a day trip. The walk to the sea from the guest house takes you through the village Koreiz (around 20 min. walk) and through a small forest and takes about another half an hour. The Mishor beach is pleasant and good for swimming for those that want to. A little further along the coast you can walk through a lovely old park or even jump on one of the boats that will take you to Yalta.

In the centre of Koreiz you can find small restaurants, cafes, shops, markets a post office and Internet cafe.

Another walk further on from Koreiz you reach the neighbouring village of Gaspra. Gaspra is among other things well known for Prince Golitsyn’s small but beautiful 19th century palace. It was here that the great write Leo Tolstoy recovered from a difficult illness in 1901. A further 6km from Gaspra along the ‘Sun- and tsar trail’ you can reach Livadia palace. The path itself takes you through a lovely forest above the sea. Thanks to its central location along the southern coast Koreiz makes an ideal starting point for many excursions in the area. Information on what there is to see and do is available as are directions on how to get there at the guest house. There are many buses. Excursions can be arranged on request.
