Getting to Perm
Air
You can get to Perm from Moscow or St Petersburg. Alternatively it is possible to fly from Frankfurt or Hanover with Lufthansa.

Train
Perm is located on the main Trans-Siberian route 20 to 22 hours from Moscow (daily trains). Yekaterinburg (6 hours) is the next major city as you head east. There are daily trains from Kazan that take 17 hours.

Boat
Boats down the Kama river to the Volga and on to Astrakhan depart about once a week during summer. There is also a boat service to/from Nizhny Novgorod.

Transfer service
Naturally, you will be picked up at the airport or railway station, no matter when you arrive. You will find a person waiting for you, holding a sign with your name on it. This transfer service is included in all our study packages. You will also be taken back to the airport/railway station when you leave after your studies.
