Accommodation in Novosibirsk

All studies and accommodation are located in central Akademgorodok. Accommodation is generally reserved from Sunday prior to the start of the course until Saturday following the end of the course. Extra nights before and after the course can be arranged at an extra fee. There are a number of alternatives for you to choose from:

Student room
The student accommodation is modern and of a high standard and is only five minutes walk away from the classrooms. Also nearby are the swimming pool, sports hall, centers for other activities and the supermarkets among other things. If you choose this option you will stay in a single room, unless of course you especially ask to share with a friend. Bathroom and good kitchen facilities are shared with a few other people, as are a telephone, living and TV room and laundry room. An internet connection can be arranged on request.

Family stay
Staying with a family provides you with excellent opportunities to practice and improve your language skills. You will be given your own room and breakfast every morning. You will also have access to kitchen and bathroom facilities as well as TV and telephone. If you would like to eat more meals with your hosts or to have help with your laundry then you can pay a little extra for this to be included in the cost of your stay. All host families are selected and approved by the University.

Apartment
The apartments, which are all selected and approved by the University, lie in the centre of Akademgorodok and usually have three rooms that are rented out to students. The apartments are fully furnished as is the kitchen. There is also a telephone and TV available for you to use. Bed linen is provided.

Hotel
There are many hotels of different standards in Novosibirsk and Akademgorodok.
