Accommodation is available in a student room in a hall of residence, with a family, in the university hostel or in an apartment. Once you have decided what suits you best then we can arrange it for you. Accommodation is generally reserved from Sunday prior to the start of the course until Saturday following the end of the course. Extra nights of accommodation before and after the course can be arranged at an extra fee.
Student room
Students have the opportunity to stay in a single room in a hall of residence. The accommodation is situated right next to the building where tuition is held in the downtown area of Nizhny Novgorod. There is a cafe, a mini-market, conference halls, and study rooms all available for use by international students.
Family stay
All host families are carefully selected by the University and live in the very centre of the city, at a safe location close to where tuition is held. Breakfast is included in the price. By sharing meals and interests with the host families, it is much easier to get to know the Russian people and culture, as well as the language. You will have access to kitchen and bathroom facilities as well as TV.
Apartment
You can also choose to stay in a fully furnished one bedroom apartment with access to kitchen, bath, TV, refrigerator, telephone, bed linen etc. These studios are normally situated in, or near, the city centre. No meals are included in this option. Bed linen is provided.
Hostel
It is also possible to book a comfortable room with its own bathroom in the university´s hostel, right next to the building where tuition is held. In every room there is a TV set and a refrigerator.
