Air
Daily flights to Moscow, served by most major international carriers can be found from capital cities all around the world. Nearly all travellers arriving by air, land in Moscow at Sheremetyevo Airport´s Terminal II. Most international airlines have offices in downtown Moscow and many have offices within the Sheremetyevo II International Airport should you require assistance during your stay in Moscow.
Train
The main western rail gateways to European Russia are Helsinki, Warsaw, Prague and Budapest but trains run all the way from Amsterdam, Athens, Berlin, Brussels, Bucharest, Frankfurt, Paris, Riga, Tallinn, Venice and Vilnius. For instance, there is a daily service from Paris and Amsterdam to Moscow via Berlin and Warsaw.
Trains from Central and Eastern Europe arrive mostly at Belarusky Station. Most of the trains from the northern part of Europe to Moscow go via a stop in St Petersburg (Finlandsky Station) and later arrive in Moscow at Leningradsky Station.
Note that you´ll go through customs and immigration when you cross the border, not at the station.
Transfer service
You will be picked up at the airport or railway station, no matter when you arrive. You will find a person waiting for you, holding a sign with your name on it. This transfer service is included in all our study packages if you book accommodation.
