Comments:
the hotel and the language school are definitely recommendable. classes are demanding but well explained, my fellow students are great and the hotel is cheap, but fulfilling every wish (it even has a balcony, small but nice to sit there and watch the traffic). only thing is that they keep changing the breakfast room as they like ;) I have the impression they like to see me running the stairs in search for my morning coffee... it was great to study in Cairo. I like the city, that might make the difference as Cairo can sometimes be a nightmare, most important: the traffic. pedestrians are not really accepted and the negotiations with Caironese taxi drivers is sometimes a nuisance, especially if the manipulate the meters... ;D
Accommodation: 5/5
fair for this price.
Favourite night club/restaurant/pub:
roof terrasse on zamalek hotel and the one on the odean hotel. ah yes, and the culture wheel - but egyptian jazz is somewhat... interesting...
